Yaian tries her best to find out what others might like and work those differences in style into her designs and patterns, but sometimes she finds herself falling back into her old habit of only really caring about what she feels belongs in the design. Not giving up so easily though, Yaian learns to become better at her willingness to recreate a pattern to try to make it closer to what someone else likes, even if she doesn’t particularly care for it.
The advantage of this is others pay more attention to Yaian’s designs than they did before; now Yaian just has to work on being happy with that result instead of being displeased the pattern isn’t exactly as she likes. This duality in her nature can make Yaian a difficult creature to care for and befriend, but those with the patience enough to try are often rewarded when Yaian finally finds a certain kind of joy in pleasing others and not just herself, at which point he evolves into Yamaya.
