Lifestyle
These eggs are often found bobbling back and forth in the water. People often mistake them for round creatures that are waddling to shore - this, however, is a misconception due to the off-center balance of the egg, giving it a waddling appearance when floating.
The egg is often found in near-freezing temperatures a few hundred meters from the nearest glacier base. They usually find their way to land prior to hatching.
