Lifestyle
As Sael grows, she tries harder to control her power. Oftentimes, she'll find a secluded place to practice and try to analyze how her power works. She knows her caretaker and the other creatures can feel it, but why is it so difficult to control? It's her, after all, and with this thought in mind, she starts learning to harness it. Aside from Sael herself, no one's sure exactly how this works: it may be willpower, or it may simply be that Sael has grown old enough, but given time, Sael succeeds in constraining her energy. This is when she evolves into Caveas.
Just because Caveas can now control her energy doesn't mean she has any less, and really, she still has more than she knows what to do with. No longer does her caretaker have to worry about accidental burn holes, but Caveas is very restless. Soon, caretakers find some of their books disappearing, only to reappear later with definite claw marks. Many caretakers begin to leave things for her to find now, to see what catches her interest: books about science, art, history, etc. Most Caveas end up with a tendency to the analytical, and they love puzzling out mysteries, be they real or fictional; whatever their preference though, they pursue it single-mindedly.
Caveas's new interest usually takes her into the path of other creatures, and she stumbles onto friendship here. She especially clicks with Nahn, who appreciates quiet as much as she does, and Pisces, who are able to see her spiritual energy beneath the surface.
