Lifestyle
Turkey is an intense little bird. Nothing escapes her notice; she observes and scrutinizes every detail of life around her. She then uses this information to, well, to be frank, get her way. With her tiny size and unassuming plumage Turkey may not look like much of a charmer, but she has a silver tongue. When she speaks, Turkey weighs each word carefully, and always strikes the right intonation and nuance. If she manipulates the people around her in the fashion, she's not aware of it. Some pets can fly, others can run and others have the gift of persuasion. Turkey happens to be amongst the latter and she uses her talent without hesitation, but also without any intentional manipulation.
At this stage of her life, Turkey is very popular but has only a handful of truly close friends. Most caretakers believe that Turkey, although loveably cute, is still too caught up in her own needs to really bond with others. Turkey seems to get along best with Posh and Aerie, which might seem odd at first since each of them is a bit self-absorbed. Most caretakers are glad that these three seem to get along so well though and figure that if it works, it works. And against all odds, the three seem to pull each other out of their reverie and instead concentrate on each other, broadening their horizons to the needs of others.
