Now that Luis has found her courage, she evolves into Lycas before Quera evolves into Qiana. This is the first time Lycas did not evolve last, but if any of the trio is surprised by this, they don't show it. Lycas can now control the heat and fire of her body. Magma crackles across her deep obsidian skin, erupting her paws, snout and tail into flame, yet she is safe to touch even without protective spells.
Lycas is also bigger and stronger than she ever was and has the courage to match. She no longer frets about things outside her control or, more importantly, about being cowardly. She has already been her own worst critic and in the end, she likes who she is. The only thing that can make her tuck tail now is rain, since she dislikes the way it sizzles against her hot skin.
The trio, spurred on by Lycas, now explores even further. They travel to places no one ever has, safe in the knowledge that together they can handle anything. Torch knows the best path, Qiana is resistant to all elements and Lycas is stronger than most any creature. Lycas fancies herself the leader of their little group, though like any good leader, she knows when to delegate and often lets Qiana take charge.
Whenever the trio visits home, Lycas is the first to run up to their caretaker. Their caretaker, in turn, is happy to see them but often even happier that their shy little pup evolved into the confident wolf that Lycas now is.
