Lifestyle
Ms Nevar is a Champion of Justice; she sees it as her mission in life to make sure everybody is happy. Admittedly, most citizens of Esmelda are pretty happy to begin with, but there are times when they hurt themselves, when young creatures have a dispute, or when people are feeling hungry. Whenever that happens, Ms Nevar is there to apply band-aids, mediate the dispute or get groceries. She always appears out of thin air, solves the problem, and disappears again.
As any Champion of Justice, Ms Nevar never needs a reward for her help; she always says that kindness is its own reward. Well, kindness and a hug from her caretaker when she gets home. When Ms Nevar isn't out championing justice, she likes to spend her time quietly at home with her caretaker. She loves to sit on her caretaker's shoulder, snuggle against her caretaker's neck, eat a piece of cheese and fall asleep. Ms Nevar has remarkable balance, and even asleep, she'll sit comfortably on her caretaker's shoulder as they go about their daily routine. Caretakers have been known to tend their gardens, feed their pets and do the laundry with a Nevar sitting on their shoulders.
Like their pets, caretakers tending a Nevar become more empathic to the needs of others. They'll try to help others whenever they can, and will go out of their way to make others happy. Nevar's presence seems to inspire them to make Esmelda even better than it already is.
