Visual Description
A curious young seahorse.
Lifestyle
With a bit more age and experience on her side, Deni's no longer quite the handful she was as an Ippi. Part of this is her size: she's much bigger and fits comfortably in her caretaker's arms now, rather than on a single fingertip. Consequently, it's much harder for her to just vanish like she did before.
This doesn't stop Deni from exploring. She wanders even further from home, curiosity leading her to poke her snout into the more unfamiliar parts of the sea, though she still doesn't venture too far into the deepest depths. She knows there must be treasures there, but it is not yet time for her to seek those. But Deni has the rest of the sea and its treasures before her.
Deni is fascinated with shiny objects and searches for them constantly while her caretaker's away. Upon returning, her caretaker is often met with a deluge of gold coins, little artifacts and Deni, eager to tell all about her day's exploits. After some time, other creatures and her caretaker often join Deni on her expeditions, eager to see what Deni'll find next and to help her when she finds something too big to carry alone.
The bond between Deni and her caretaker is stronger now. And strangely, sometimes when Deni's caretaker pats Deni's head, their vision seems to blur in front of them before it returns to normal. Upon asking why, Deni's caretaker is often met with a confused meep, as Deni herself doesn't know.
