The Story of Alana
Her life started as a mistake; she was an egg that was not supposed to hatch anything living. Her mother was a rogue Orbit with wanderlust; when the Caretaker stumbled across the nest the mother was nowhere to be found. After closely observing the eggs the Caretaker came to a sad conclusion: they had been left unattended and unloved for far too long and had fallen victim to nature. Moved by compassion and hope, the Caretaker took the one egg that seemed unmarred and hoped for the best.
Despite all the odds, the tiny Paww Orbit hatched as sweet and friendly as the breed demands. But the small creature seemed somewhat cursed; none who looked at her seemed inclined to adopt her. The poor thing's spirits dropped despite the Caretaker's attempts to keep her cheerful, and the latter worried that the little Orbit would never find happiness.
But then the Caretaker had a brainstorm -- a stranger had wandered into her shop several times, lost and alone. This teal haired young woman had been looking for a traveling companion only idly; she had worried that she wouldn't be able to handle having a pet when she hardly had the coin to clothe herself, never mind regularly purchase food. But the Caretaker had faith and felt that the two would be a perfect match, and threatened to push the noob in front of a train if she didn't at least give the yellow winged kitten a chance.
The new member known as Fairlee came into the shop as threatened, and to show her appreciation Paww immediately pounced upon her. Despite the attempts to stay hard-hearted the Orbit instantly won the teal haired girl's heart over.
"Alright, alright, you adorable little thing!" Fairlee exclaimed, placing the kitten on her shoulder. "You win... let's go!"

Lifestyle
Alana is a very powerful, wise creature. She possesses a precognition of danger, empathy, phasing, and finally, the ability to teleport to any destination she is aware of.
Alana can seek out those in need and be there almost instantaneously, though she does not have a precognitive awareness of those who need it unless they are a close friend or ally.
