The UniCreatures Starter's Walkthrough
This guide walks you through the basics of UniCreatures in 5 to 10 minutes.
Step #1
Choose your starter pet by selecting one at the Starter Pet Page!

A guest account will be automatically generated. To make sure you can come back to your pets, change your password and write down your User ID number. If you prefer a username, you can register one at the Registration Page.

Notice the notes icon listed at the bottom of each page. It will link you to a tutorial about the page you are looking at. When you want to know about a page on UniCreatures, click that button.

Go check out your profile by clicking on the "My Page" link in the UniCreatures menu. You will see the image of your caretaker, your personal menubar, and a few plots of land.

Go to the Wild area by clicking on the first plot of land listed on the main page of your profile. You should now see your starter pet.

New pets always start in the Wild, but you can move them to other plots of land. Each pet also has many things you can do to interact with it. Click on your starter pet to see it's options.

You will be redirected to a page about your pet. On the top of the page, there will be three icons that appear. Click on one of them to care for your pet. Every 20 hours, you can care for your pet, increasing it's evolution points.

Evolution points will allow your pet to grow. For additional ways to grant evolution points, give your pet some goodies! You will start with some goodies already available. Try increasing evolution points by giving it the goodies it wants!

You should have enough goodies to evolve your pet to the next level. Give enough goodies to your pet to satisfy it, then click evolve!

Return to your pet through your profile, or by returning from the last page. Look at the options available. Select the one that says "Move". This page will allow you to move your pet to a new plot of land. Select the Pond that you started with

Once you have sent your creature to the pond, you will find that the Pond has increased in population. It should now show (1/25), indicating that you have 1 slot of 25 slots filled. You can buy more land or construct buildings on your plots of land to increase the population size later.

Now it's time to go exploring and gather some goods. Head to the "Explore the World" page, and explore The Great Plains by clicking on the image of the Grasslands!

Gather coins, components, and supplies while traveling around The Great Plains! These goods can be used to purchase equipment, evolve your pets, or do construction work on your land plots!

Return to the "Explore the World" page and click on the Caretaker Hut! They will tell you that they are willing to give you eggs.
Step #15
Select one of the eggs from the caretaker as your next pet! Remember that this pet will go into the Wild.

Now that you understand some of the navigation and know how to gather new pets and goodies, start navigating to new pages on your profile and clicking the FAQ icons at the bottom of the page to learn more!
