Exploring An Area
There are many places to see and stories to read in the world, and several places will take you to them. These areas include the Great Plains - the large, expansive grasslands, Sargasso - the seas and rivers of the world, Silva - the enormous forest, New Atlantis - the major city, and the Mountains.
While exploring in these areas, you can gather all sorts of goodies and interact with creatures from all sorts of places!
How to Navigate
When you start exploring, you will be given a story about the location you've recently arrived at, and three creatures that you can interact with at that location. Click on one of the creatures to partake in the story, and you will automatically move to the next adventure.
As you continue along the adventures in this game, your energy will go down. It rebuilds quickly, however, and you'll have enough that it won't take much time to re-energize it.
Gathering Goodies
As you adventure in the world, you will gather things that you can use in other areas around the site. Coins will be used at the shop or to purchase deeds of land. Components are used to help grow your pet. Building materials are used to upgrade plots of land. Mystery boxes will occasionally pop up as well, which may contain random goods.
Gathering Eggs
During your travels, you can also locate eggs. Some eggs can only be gathered in certain areas of the world - such as Cyber eggs can only be gathered in the city. Some eggs are much more rare than others, and require a lot of searching to locate, while others are very easy to find. The beginner areas - The Great Plains and Sargasso - have a lot of common creatures that you will be able to gather without too much difficulty. As you explore other areas, the difficulty of finding eggs may increase.
The Exploration Map
If you're not sure where to find eggs or the right components, click on the Exploration map on the main "Explore the World" page. This will show you exactly where you can travel to in search of specific eggs or to find various building components.
Interact With Your Pets
If you prefer, you can always interact with your pets. You gather things about the same as in regular exploration with a few exceptions - your rate of gathering components to grow your creatures is increased, but you cannot acquire eggs or building supplies.
Interacting with your pets does not give the pets evolution points automatically.
The Caretaker Hut
The Caretaker Hut is a quick, easy way to gather eggs. The eggs change every hour, and they'll occasionally even give you Noble and Exalted creatures, though it is somewhat easier to find them in World Exploration if you're willing to go out searching yourself.
