Description for: Contemplative Cabin I

You see a stream of creatures heading in one direction. You follow them and find yourself nearing a small cottage built over a still pond. Clusters of creatures are huddled around the sides of the building and on the nearby pier, gazing into the glassy surface of the water.

A woman steps out from the cottage with an exalted McPuppet on her shoulder. As she sits herself down, an exalted Orbit phases into view and settles down into her lap. She then also gazes into the water. She glances up and sees you staring rather curiously over at her. She beckons you closer.

"I'll bet you are wondering why everyone here is looking into the water!" You nod in assent. She replies "Think of it as an advanced picture gallery. With the help of my water-affinitive friends, they helped me make this pool. By looking into the waters and concentrating on one of my friends I can see images of what they are doing, snapshots of how they are progressing. Other creatures come here to look at what their friends are doing. It is a comfort to those who are lonely and missing their friends."

You look into the water and catch brief glimpses of different creatures running around going about their life, experiencing wonderful things. You ask if the caretaker misses them. She cocks her head tot he side and says "Well yes, but you see every creature has a purpose in life. Some will grow to be creators, others nurturers and others contemplators. Although I am a caretaker, not all the creatures that I help raise will remain here. They will want to explore and find their own way in life. Sure, some will stay ..." she reaches down and scratches the Orbit behind his ear, "but some will go. They aren't my pets to contain within walls and fences, but sentinent beings with their own lives to live. I enjoy the time I spend with them, but understand they each have a destiny. All I do is help them reach it."
